At NJIT, our students are driven, talented, and determined to build brighter futures. But for many, success comes with a hidden struggle: finding enough to eat.
Nearly half of all college students nationwide experience food insecurity at some point, and more than one in five regularly go hungry. At NJIT, this reality affects far too many of our own Highlanders.
The Highlander HOUSE (Helping Others Use Supportive Essentials) provides critical support through the NJIT Food Pantry and Career Closet, serving more than 2,000 student visits each year. From fresh produce and pantry staples to professional clothing and personal care items, these resources help students stay healthy, focused, and confident in the classroom and beyond.
This Giving Tuesday, you have the power to make sure no Highlander faces hunger alone. When you give, you are not just providing a meal or an outfit. You are fueling ambition, dignity, and the drive to succeed.
Your Giving Tuesday gift can make a real difference:
Sustaining Gifts
